• Pruning - We provide a wide variety of tree pruning designed to enhance health, improve aesthetics, and reduce liability risks. All of our pruning is done in conformity with guidelines established by the International Society of Arboriculture. We also belong to the Plant Amnesty referral service and respect their ethics.
• Removals - Sometimes, due to the condition of the tree or the desires of property owners, the best course of action is to remove the tree. Often times we recommend removal and replanting when the tree does not fit the site. One example is when a large tree is located under power lines; a tree that is extremely slow growing will better fit that site. Another example when we may recommend removal is when the tree substantially interferes with the view. Rather than top a tree for view enhancement, we often recommend removing the tree and replanting one that will provide aesthetic value without inhibiting the view. Our crew is skillful enough to accomplish a no-impact-to-the-landscape removal.
• Cabling and bracing - Cabling and bracing are done in certain cases to reduce the strain on major branches, help support the tree, and reduce potential liability. Cabling also helps reduce stress damage from high winds and other environmental forces. Cabling involves adding steel cable with eye nuts or J-lags between limbs and trunk in a strengthening system. Bracing involves adding galvanized steel threaded rod between split or weak included stems. Guying trees back into their natural position can be accomplished by adding ground anchors from tree to ground.
• Tree planting - We can recommend the right tree for your site and plant according to your needs.
• Consulting - We perform a wide variety of consulting services ranging from tree health and hazard evaluations to insurance investigations from wrongful removal or damage. We also provide expert witness services in lawsuits.
• Free wood chips - Wood chips are a by-product of our business. We keep a list of people that want wood chips for garden mulch. When we have a full load in your area, we can deliver the chips free-of-charge to your house. We can only deliver full loads (about 8 - 10 yards).
